The main features and advantages of hydraulic vane pumps include compact structure, small size, large displacement per unit volume, stable operation, uniform output flow, low noise, can be made into both fixed and variable pumps, fixed pumps have balanced axial force and long service life, variable pumps can have multiple variable modes, and simple structure.
The working principle of hydraulic vane pumps is based on the use of volume changes between blades inserted into the rotor slots to complete the function of the pump. According to the different modes of action, vane pumps can be divided into single-acting and double-acting types. Single-acting vane pumps suck and discharge oil once for each revolution of the rotor, while double-acting pumps suck and discharge oil twice for each revolution of the rotor. This design allows the vane pump to maintain a relatively stable state during operation, thereby providing uniform output flow and lower noise. In addition, vane pumps can be designed as both fixed and variable pumps, providing greater application flexibility. For fixed pumps, the design of axial force balance ensures a long service life, while variable pumps can achieve flow regulation in a variety of ways to meet the needs of different working scenarios.
Despite the above advantages, the vane pump also has some limitations, such as slightly poor oil absorption capacity, high sensitivity to oil contamination, and poor anti-pollution ability.
