Advantages of airbags
The air spring (referred to as the air bag) is filled with compressed gas (air pressure 0.5-1Mpa) in a sealed container, and uses the compressibility of the gas to realize its spring action. The airbag thus has ideal elastic properties. When the rubber air spring works, the inner cavity is filled with compressed air to form a compressed air column. As the vibration load increases, the height of the spring decreases, the volume of the inner cavity decreases, the stiffness of the rubber spring increases, the effective bearing area of the air column in the inner cavity increases, and the bearing capacity of the rubber spring increases. In this way, within the effective stroke, the height, inner cavity volume, and bearing capacity of the air spring have a smooth and flexible transmission with the increase and decrease of the vibration load, and the efficient control of the amplitude and vibration load. It is also possible to adjust the stiffness and bearing capacity of the spring by increasing or decreasing the amount of inflation, and an auxiliary air chamber can also be attached to realize self-control adjustment.
