The LNK-POE2GP passive power-over-Ethernet (PoE) gigabit splitter and injector device is compliant with the IEEE 802.3af/at standard. It features 5.5 x 2.1 mm size DC connectors and guarantees superior operation for 10 Mbps 10BASE-T, 100 Mbps 100BASE-TX and the gigabit (1000 Mbps) 1000BASE-T operations. Moreover, E-link engineers designed the device with solid copper, 24 AWG wire and shielded connectors, all of which granted an additional internal drain wire for optimal performance. Lastly, a green LED indicates presence of voltage.
This Power Over Ethernet (PoE) injector offers plug and play convenience and is IEEE 802.3at/at compliant. It includes passive injector and splitter sides and works with all DC powered non-PoE devices, including Access Points, CPEs, IP cameras and IP phones. It supports 10/100/1000 Mbps base-TX, with an input voltage of 9V~48V. It also takes turns a standard power outlet into a PoE powered port with the 2.1x5mm male power jack and DC 2.1X5.5mm female power plug.
This injector is extremely easy to install, as it transmits power and data signals through the same Ethernet cable up to 150 feet. However, keep in mind that this distance may vary depending on the type of cable used and the power draw of the device. Furthermore, this injector also has the ability to use the power supply from powered device.
