Overview

The professional signal conversion device is a dedicated HDMI to 3G-SDI Converter, engineered to
enable seamless integration of HDMI sources into SDI-based professional video systems by converting
HDMI signals to SD-SDI, HD-SDI, and 3G-SDI formats for display on SDI monitors, projectors, or broadcast
equipment. As an HDMI to 3G-SDI Converter, it adheres to SMPTE (Society of Motion Picture and Television
Engineers) standards, ensuring reliable compatibility with broadcast-grade, live production, and monitoring
equipment.

This HDMI to 3G-SDI Converter supports a maximum data transfer rate of 2.970 Gbit/s (compliant with SM
PTE 424M), enabling transmission of high-resolution HDMI signals—including 1080p@60Hz—with zero quality
loss. A key feature is its integrated audio synchronization functionality: it automatically embeds HDMI audio
signals into the converted 3G-SDI stream, eliminating the need for separate audio cables and ensuring perfect
audio-visual synchronization—critical for professional applications like live broadcasting, video production, and
event streaming.

Equipped with advanced signal processing technology, the HDMI to 3G-SDI Converter incorporates signal re-
timing and equalization, which compensates for signal attenuation and ensures stable transmission over long
SDI cable runs (up to 100 meters for 3G-SDI). It features a standard HDMI 1.4b input interface (compatible with
most HDMI sources such as cameras, media players, and PCs) and BNC output interfaces for SDI signal distribution,
supporting both point-to-point connection and integration into larger SDI video networks.

For professionals in fields like broadcast television, live event production, and security monitoring, this HDMI
to 3G-SDI Converter simplifies workflow by enabling easy conversion of high-definition HDMI signals to 3G-SDI
for long-distance transmission. Whether connecting an HDMI camera to a broadcast switcher, or extending an
HDMI media player signal to remote SDI monitors in a control room, it delivers reliable performance. Its plug-and-
