β-Cyclodextrin, also known as cyclomaltoheptaose, cycloheptadextrin, or β-CD for short, is a cyclic compound made from starch extracted by microbial enzymes and composed of 7 glucose residues bonded by β-1,4-glycosidic bonds.
This product can form inclusion complexes with a variety of compounds to stabilize, solubilize, slow-release, emulsify, resist oxidation, resist decomposition, keep warm, and prevent moisture. It also has the functions of masking odors, and is a new type of molecular encapsulation material.
Product Description And Advantages
1. β-CD can prevent the volatilization of drugs such as nitroglycerin, borneol, naphthalene, etc.; prevent vitamins, amino acids and other hormone drugs from oxidation, light deterioration and heat damage, and improve the stability of drugs.
