Product Features
1.Used in the pharmaceutical industry to improve the solubility of drugs without the use of organic solvents, surfactants and lipids. It can significantly increase the water solubility of poorly soluble drugs after being enveloped with it.
2.Drug stability is a critical quality parameter during storage, as pharmaceuticals are susceptible to degradation from environmental factors such as light, heat, and humidity. When hydroxypropyl-beta-cyclodextrin (HPBCD) is incorporated into drug formulations, it encapsulates drug molecules within its hydrophobic cavity. This inclusion complexation effectively shields the drug from common degradation pathways, including volatilization, sublimation, oxidation, and photolysis, thereby enhancing the drug's stability and shelf life.
3.Hydroxypropyl beta cyclodextrin is a solution to insoluble or low solubility drugs(including plantextracts).Through molecular encapsulation,it could increase the drug solubility and control the releaserate of the drug,increase the drug's bioavailability and reduce the toxic side-effets.
