1. Drive mode: electrification is the only option (and requires high power):

Lifting mechanism:

Wire rope electric hoist: mainstream choice (2-ton or 3-ton class). Provide sufficient lifting force, speed and height (usually ≥10 meters). Heavy deadweight, to be included in the total load.

Heavy chain electric hoist: Also available, but the lifting speed is slower, and chain management is more troublesome at super-high heights.

Slewing mechanism: Must be electrically driven! Equipped with a high-torque slewing motor and reducer. Under a 2-ton load, it is completely unrealistic to manually push the cantilever to rotate.

2. Safety requirements reach the highest level:

Overload protection (load limiter): Absolutely necessary and requires redundant design. This is the last line of defense to prevent catastrophic accidents.

Multiple braking system: hoist main brake + auxiliary brake (even double auxiliary brake).

Travel limit: Accurate and reliable upper and lower limit switches.

Emergency stop: Emergency stop buttons are set in multiple places.

Slewing limit and buffer: Precise electric limit (180° range) and hydraulic/spring buffer.

Structural health monitoring (optional but recommended): Consider installing strain gauges to monitor stress in key parts.

Design specifications: Strictly comply with the highest standards such as GB/T 3811 "Crane Design Specifications", and take the upper limit of the safety factor.

Special equipment supervision: Rated lifting capacity ≥ 1 ton must be included in the special equipment management. Strict design document review, installation supervision, comprehensive load test (1.25 times static load, 1.1 times dynamic load), and regular inspection are required.

Operator qualification: Must be certified and receive special training for this special equipment.

3. Application scenario (extremely rare):

In heavy industrial plants, special workstations close to ultra-thick concrete core tubes/shear walls are used for fixed-mode lifting of heavy objects below 2 tons (such as the only maintenance point for specific large equipment).

Special experimental facilities (such as large wind tunnels and heavy test benches) are located on the edge of specially reinforced walls.

Extremely rare, and usually due to historical reasons or special conditions that cannot be replicated.

4. Operation and control:

Wireless remote control: Essential and the only recommendation. The operator must be able to control the equipment (lifting, rotation, emergency stop) at a safe distance and optimal viewing angle, away from hanging objects and potential danger areas (such as walls in case of failure).
 

5. Cost and implementation complexity:

Sky-high cost: The equipment itself is expensive, but the greater cost lies in:

Comprehensive structural assessment and reinforcement design fees.

Engineering costs for large-scale wall reinforcement (may far exceed the equipment price).

Professional design, inspection, supervision and inspection, and evidence collection costs for special equipment.

Professional installation and commissioning costs.
