1.Description:

The pendulum hardness tester is an internationally recognized method for testing the hardness of coating films in the coatings industry. Its principle is to support two stainless steel small balls on the pendulum hardness tester on the dried coating and swing them at a certain period. The softer the coating surface is, the faster the swing amplitude of the pendulum will decay (manifested in the shorter the swing time from one Angle to another). Conversely, the slower the attenuation.

Biuged offers three different types of pendulums: double pendulums, KOnig simple pendulums and Persoz simple pendulums. It is worth noting that there is no conversion relationship among the test results conducted with pendulum rods of different structures, masses, sizes and periods. This is because the interaction between the pendulum rods and the coating also depends on the complex elasticity and viscosity of the coating and other reasons. Therefore, when determining the damping time of a certain paint film in the product standard, only one type of pendulum rod is stipulated to be used.

In addition, to obtain reliable test data, the test should be conducted under controlled temperature and humidity conditions without the influence of air flow. Moreover, the thickness of the coating film and the material of the substrate can also affect the damping time.

The BGD 508S/509S fully automatic pendulum bar hardness tester is a newly developed instrument by Biogda Company. It is fully designed in accordance with ISO 1522, ASTM D4366 and GB/T 1730. Compared with the traditional similar instruments in China, it has the following characteristics:

◆ Large-sized capacitive touch screen, displaying various measurement parameters, temperature and humidity of the test environment, with rich and intuitive content

◆ One-click start can automatically complete the experiment: automatically push the pendulum pin to the release position, automatically press the test plate, and automatically complete the test. It has a high degree of automation and is easier to operate, completely eliminating the errors caused by manual operation.

The uniquely designed automatic lifting working platform can automatically clamp the test plate within 3 seconds and continuously provide a clamping force of at least 25N. When the pendulum swings, the platform is stable without shaking

The pendulum pins processed by high-precision and precise mechanical processing have strong stability, ensuring the reproducibility and comparability of test data, and can be comparable to similar imported products

The overall lift-off type plexiglass door cover is convenient to operate, greatly increasing the operating space and reducing the data deviation caused by air circulation at the same time. In addition, the unidirectional resistance design can prevent the impact on the instrument when the door cover closes instantaneously.

◆ Two test methods can be switched: K pendulum (Konig) or P pendulum (Persaz)

The pendulum is released by using the electromagnet method, and the test results are more accurate.

◆ It is equipped with a high-precision horizontal tilt sensor with an accuracy of up to 0.05°. The horizontal deflection can be directly observed on the touch screen, facilitating customers to quickly adjust the level

◆ Automatically count and display the timing and counting of the test in real time. Correspondingly, the test will be automatically stopped when the deflection drops to 3° (KOnig) or 4° (Persoz) respectively, and the test period will be calculated simultaneously

Historical test data can be viewed, facilitating data comparison for customers
