1. Overview of Lab Conical Ball Mill
The laboratory cone ball mill allows for free setting of the operating time and can be utilized for both dry and wet grinding. It adopts frequency conversion technology and has a broad speed range. 2,Working Principle of Lab Cone Ball Mill
The laboratory conical ball mill is a horizontally placed cylindrical rotating device driven by external gears. It consists of two silos and is a grid ball mill. The material is evenly fed into the first chamber of the mill via the feeding hollow shaft screw from the feeding device. In this chamber, there is a stepped or corrugated lining filled with steel balls of different sizes. As the cylinder rotates, centrifugal force is generated, which lifts the steel balls to a certain height and then lets them drop, thus strongly impacting and grinding the material. After being roughly ground in the first silo, the material enters the second silo through a single layer partition. The second silo is lined with a flat lining plate containing steel balls, where the material is further ground. The ground powder is discharged through the discharge grate, thus completing the grinding operation.
3,Structure Features of Lab Cone Ball Mill
This machine is composed of key components like the feeding section, discharging section, rotating part, and transmission part (reducer, small transmission gear, motor, and electric control). The hollow shaft is made of cast steel components, and its lining can be removed and replaced. The large rotary gear is fabricated through casting and rolling processes. The cylinder liner is made of a wear resistant lining plate, which demonstrates excellent wear resistance. The machine operates smoothly and has dependable performance.
