Soft Malleable Aluminium Intubation Stylet ETT Intubation Stylet
The stylet intubation is a useful tool for tracheal intubation. It's an intubating stylet that works similarly to a light wand. As a result, when utilising the stylet intubation, we should advance it along the midline of the tongue, similar to how we would with a lightwand. The stylet intubation is a rigid but malleable introducer that fits inside the endotracheal tube and allows for tube manipulation, usually into a hockey stick shape, to help the tube pass through the laryngeal inlet. The stylet also gives the tube more stiffness, which may help in tube passage. The lit stylet ett aids in the transparency required for appropriate tracheal catheter insertion during intubation and exposes the soft tissue of the neck efficiently.
