Brief Introduction
A steel pipe without joints along the periphery of its cross section. According to different production methods, it is divided into hot-rolled pipe, cold-rolled pipe, cold drawn pipe, extruded pipe, pipe jacking, etc., with their own process regulations.
The materials include ordinary and high-quality carbon structural steel (q215-a ~ q275-a and 10 ~ 50 steel), low alloy steel (09mnv, 16Mn, etc.), alloy steel, stainless and acid resistant steel, etc.
According to the purpose, it can be divided into general purpose (for water transmission, gas pipeline, structural parts and mechanical parts) and special purpose (for boiler, geological exploration, bearing, acid resistance, etc.).
Brass tube characteristics
Brass tube has light weight, good thermal conductivity and high low temperature strength. It is commonly used in the manufacture of heat exchange equipment (such as condenser, etc.). It is also used to assemble low-temperature pipeline in oxygen production equipment. Copper pipes with small diameter are often used to transport pressurized liquids (such as lubrication system, oil pressure system, etc.) and pressure measuring pipes used as instruments. Brass tubes are strong and corrosion resistant.
It mainly has the following advantages: the copper pipe is hard, not easy to corrode, and resistant to high temperature and high pressure. It can be used in a variety of non copper environments. Compared with brass pipes, the disadvantages of many other pipes are obvious. For example, galvanized steel pipes used more in houses in the past are very easy to rust, and problems such as yellowing of tap water and smaller water flow will occur after a short service time. The strength of some materials will decrease rapidly at high temperature, which will produce unsafe hidden dangers when used in hot water pipes. However, because the melting point of copper is as high as 1083 degrees, the influence of the temperature of the hot water system on the brass pipe is basically minimal. Common brass tubes include brass tubes for electrical appliances, brass tubes for refrigeration, brass tubes for high pressure resistance, brass tubes for corrosion resistance, brass tubes for connection, brass tubes for waterways, brass tubes for electric heating and brass tubes for industry.
