The DS4-O3 employs a three-electrode electrochemical cell, comprising:
Working Electrode (WE): Ozone diffuses through a permeable membrane and undergoes oxidation, releasing electrons to generate a current.
Counter Electrode (CE): Completes the redox reaction to maintain circuit balance.
Reference Electrode (RE): Provides a stable potential reference.
The current magnitude is directly proportional to the ozone concentration, enabling precise quantification.
