Avalon FM20 Antepartum offers fetal and maternal monitoring for obstetrical departments in offices, clinics, and hospitals. It integrates monitoring of maternal blood pressure and pulse rate with measurement of multiple fetal heart rates and uterine activity. Efficiently designed, it is compact and easy to use and has power and performance features, including high-quality ultrasound. New high performance functionality in the FM20 includes the capability to monitor triplets with a sophisticated three-channel ultrasound tracing capability and coincidence detection between all heart rate channels. Data from the Avalon FM20 can be automatically transmitted to the PHiliphh OB TraceVue obstetrical information system.

Avalon FM30 covers patients from the onset of contractions through fi nal stages of delivery with its full set of external and internal fetal parameters, such as ultrasound and direct fetal heart rate, Toco, and intrauterine pressure. It provides monitoring of maternal blood pressure, heart rate and the maternal ECG wave. The FM30 includes all the new high performance functionality of the FM20, plus maternal pulse oximetry.Fully integrated within PHiliphh obstetrical information continuum, data and traces from the Avalon FM30 can be automatically transmitted to OB TraceVue, where they become part of the overall patient record.

1 Remove the top cover assembly.

2 Disconnect the loudspeaker cable connector from the main CPU board.

► Exchanging the Loudspeaker

1 Remove the top cover assembly.

2 Disconnect the loudspeaker cable connector from the main CPU board.

3 Remove the three screws holding the loudspeaker, and remove the loudspeaker.

4 Refit the loudspeaker, making sure to refit the o-ring gasket. If a new gasket is required, it is available as part of the bottom housing small parts kit.
