Description:
The machining of hard metal materials requires significantly harder cutting materials. Super hard cubic boron nitride (cBN) is the hardest known material eligible for the machining of ferrous materials and other super hard materials. CBN materials posses properties of high hardness, high resistance to corrosion and high thermal stability.
PCBN Cutting Tool Blanks consist of fine CBN grains sintered under ultra-high pressure and ultra-high temperature. They have high hardness, good wear resistance and thermal stability, they are ideal for tools used to machine of ferrous metal such as high speed steel, bearing steel, cast iron, etc. All with high productive efficiency, high machining precision, and good surface quality.
