Introduction and advantages:

In the environmental water quality analysis and monitoring, the ORP measurement value is very important to understand the effect of water pollution control. ORP is a comprehensive result of oxidation-reduction reactions between various oxides and reducing substances. Although this indicator cannot be used as an indicator of the concentration of certain oxidizing substances and reducing substances, it can help us understand the electrochemical characteristics of water quality, analyze the properties of water bodies, and make prevention or governance decisions.

ORP is a comprehensive indicator. The ORP electrode is a composite electrode with a glass housing. It uses a flat platinum detection head, easy to clean and polish.

The ASR 200 series of ORP electrodes are suitable for industrial processes and polluting the environment.

• The reference of the ORP sensor ASR200V-D05-A uses an annular porous  diaphragm. It has the characteristics of fast response, not easy to clog, easy to clean.

• The reference electrode is Ag/AgCl, filled KCL colorless high-temperature gel.

• There is a mounting thread of size PG13.5 at the end of the electrode for easier installation.

• This ORP probe is equipped with a standard 5-meter low noise lead.

The Redox electrode is a precious metal electrode. It is used for potential measurements and at the same time cannot participate in chemical reaction processes. It means the electrode should be subjected to chemical shocks. Therefore, only precious metals such as platinum, gold,or silver can be used here.

ORP measurement electrode (platinum or gold), its surface should be bright, rough or contaminated surface will affect the potential of the electrode.

ORP electrode is an electrode that can absorb or release electrons on its sensitive surface. The sensitive layer is an inert metal, usually made of platinum or gold. The reference electrode is the same silver/silver chloride electrode as the pH electrode.
