Ultrasonic cutting technique is applied in textile industry in slitting mesh rolls into smaller wide mesh ribbons, the smallest width can reach 10mm, while the maximum width can be at 1000mm by ultrasonic slitting.
Ultrasonic slitting mesh ribbons have edges welded without fraying, clean and soft with no material piled up, which are used to weld mesh into tubes for injection molding process making filters into inline filters by supporting plastic frames.
