The term "power tailgate" is another name for an electric tailgate or automatic tailgate, as mentioned in the previous response. The power tailgate refers to the same feature that allows the rear door or hatch of a vehicle to be opened and closed automatically using an electric motor and controlled by the vehicle's electrical system.

Similar to the electric tailgate, the power tailgate may also incorporate safety features such as obstacle detection sensors to prevent accidents or injuries. These sensors can detect obstacles in the path of the closing tailgate and automatically reverse the operation to avoid collisions.
