SPK MoSi₂ heating element

The advantages of irregular silicon molybdenum rods mainly include the following aspects:

1. High temperature resistance and oxidation resistance: The silicon molybdenum rod is made of molybdenum disilicide powder, which has a high melting point (2030 ℃). In a high-temperature oxidizing atmosphere, a bright and dense quartz glass film is formed on the surface, which can protect the inner layer of the silicon molybdenum rod from oxidation. This characteristic enables silicon molybdenum rods to work stably for a long time in high temperature environments.

2. Low thermal conductivity and energy saving: The thermal conductivity of silicon molybdenum rod is only 0.03W/m.K, which is one tenth of the thermal conductivity of traditional high-temperature materials. This makes it significantly effective in thermal insulation and can significantly reduce energy consumption. In addition, the service life of silicon molybdenum rods is long, with an efficiency more than 30% higher than traditional coal combustion, further improving energy utilization efficiency.

3. Good electrical and thermal conductivity: Silicon molybdenum rods have dual characteristics of metal and ceramic, with both high conductivity of metal and high temperature stability of ceramic. This allows it to maintain good electrical and thermal conductivity even in high temperature environments.

4. Environmental Protection: Silicon molybdenum rods are processed from pure inorganic materials, non-toxic and harmless, and will not produce any volatile gases or impurities during use, meeting environmental protection requirements.

5. Special shape design: The shaped silicon molybdenum rod can be designed into various shapes according to specific needs, such as circular shape, closed mouth shape, etc., suitable for local heating and special process requirements. This design makes silicon molybdenum rods more flexible and efficient in industrial applications.
