2.TNC Male Nickel Plated Material RF Coaxial Connector for MF147A/MF147B Cable

 

The TNC series represents a threaded adaptation of the BNC connector, characterized by screw threads that facilitate secure mating. These compact, threaded, waterproof connectors maintain a consistent 50-ohm impedance and are designed for operation within the DC to 11 GHz frequency range. Two variants of TNC connectors exist: standard and reverse polarity. While constructed from die-cast and molded materials, making them more affordable and slightly less performant than industrial or high-performance alternatives, they excel in diverse commercial uses. Commonly employed in antenna connections, TNC connectors also find applications in radar systems, wireless communications, and broader industrial sectors. Additionally, reverse polarity and 75-ohm versions of TNC connectors are also accessible.
