Axial flow pump (AFP) is high-performance pump that is ideal for high-flow and low-head applications.
Axial flow pumps are centrifugal pumps in which the fluid is pumped parallel to the pump shaft.
The main advantage of an axial flow pump is that it has a relatively high discharge (flow rate) at a relatively low head (vertical distance).
