The Masoneilan SVI2 AP (Smart Valve Interface, Advanced Performance) is a digital valve positioner with a local interface that controls a pneumatic actuator using a two-wire 4-20mA control signal. It is equipped with a 32-bit microprocessor, offering high levels of accuracy and performance.
In addition to its advanced technology, the SVI2 AP also offers bi-directional communication using the HART protocol. This means that it is capable of sending and receiving data, allowing for greater control and monitoring capabilities.
The instrument's universal design allows for ease of retrofit in place of existing analog positioners on Masoneilan or non-Masoneilan pneumatic actuators, whether they are single-acting or double-acting.
