Manufacturing Process Flow
To ensure uniform pipe wall quality and overall strength, our long pipe unions are "tube-shaped," meaning they're made from high-quality 304 stainless steel seamless tubing. The production process begins with the seamless tubing being precisely cut to the required 4-inch lengths. NPT threads are then precisely machined on both ends using a CNC lathe. This direct machining process from high-quality tubing ensures that each long pipe union has the same pressure-bearing capacity and reliability as standard pipe.
NPT Threaded Connection
This long pipe union utilizes the NPT (National Pipe Tapered Thread) connection, featuring a 60° thread angle and a 1:16 taper, creating an effective mechanical seal when tightened. This connection eliminates the need for welding and is easy to install and remove. It's one of the most common connection methods for general industrial and residential piping in North America and globally, offering exceptional cost-effectiveness and flexibility.
304 Material Properties
