The addition of titanium (≥5xC content) prevents sensitization during welding, ensuring structural integrity in pipelines, subsea equipment, and refinery components. Its non-magnetic properties, combined with high tensile strength and oxidation resistance up to 800°C, make it a critical material for corrosive hydrocarbon transport and processing systems.
