316ti is a titanium stabilized stainless steel. The 316ti Stainless Steel Plate is designed with a superior chemical concentration of chromium, nickel, and molybdenum. The excellent concentration allows these modules to have enhanced corrosion and oxidation resistance properties. SS 316ti plate offers enhanced resistance to pitting by chlorides in seawater.
These high-grade components show higher creep-rupture and stress-rupture properties. A 316ti Stainless Steel Sheet shows resistance to sensitization at temperatures up to 900 degrees F due to the presence of titanium in its composition. Designed with outstanding mechanical properties and strength, the SS 316ti sheet can suffice in a range of stress-induced environments.
316ti and 316l are an evolution of the 316 grade. The 316ti shows the presence of titanium to fight corrosion in high-temperature heat-affected zones. 316l on the other hand is a low carbon version utilized to limit carbide precipitation after welding procedures.
Coils and Foils are components of the SS 316ti grade. These modules have distinct characteristics which help in differentiating them.

Plates and sheets are the basic shapes within a metal grade. Apart from this, two the UNS S31635 Strip is another module that is a feature of most grades of stainless steel. These modules can be manufactured following distinct processes. A 316Ti SS hot Rolled Plate is processed at high temperatures in mills allowing the subsequent metal to be drawn and formed more easily. The Stainless Steel 316Ti Cold Rolled Plate is rolled after the hot-rolling process.
Plates and sheets during this method are processed to achieve superior or desired properties. The major differentiating factor between a plate and sheet within this grade is their thickness. ASTM A240 Type 316ti Plate is designed with a thickness of more than 6mm. These high-strength modules provide excellent stability and support to the module they are attached to. ASME SA240 316ti Stainless Steel Sheet is designed in thickness less than 6mm. Sheets are employed in devices that require less stability. They are also employed to give an aesthetical appeal to the structure, like the SS 316Ti Perforated Sheet.
