UNS S32304, also known as Alloy 2304, is a versatile duplex stainless steel plate that combines the advantages of austenitic and ferritic stainless steels. It is available in thicknesses ranging from 1.0mm to 80.0mm, with custom cutting options to meet specific project requirements.

Product Features
Balanced Microstructure: Consists of approximately 50% austenite and 50% ferrite, combining the corrosion resistance of austenitic steels with the high strength of ferritic steels.
Excellent Corrosion Resistance: Resistant to general corrosion, pitting, and crevice corrosion in environments such as freshwater, seawater, and mild chemical solutions. It performs well in chloride-containing environments compared to 304 austenitic stainless steel.
High Strength: Offers twice the yield strength of 304 or 316 austenitic stainless steels, reducing material thickness and weight in structural designs.
Good Weldability: Can be welded using common methods (e.g., TIG, MIG) with minimal risk of sensitization, thanks to its low carbon content.
