Product Description
Structural steel framing is a durable, reliable, cost-effective, sustainable option for low-rise, mid-rise and high-rise building projects and typically refers to building frame systems where the vertical and horizontal structural elements are formed by a system of structural steel beams and columns. Column spacing variations is depending on architectural requirements. The range of available shapes and sizes allows virtually any architectural requirement to be met.
Structural steel framing is typically designed, fabricated and erected in accordance with steel structure standards. It is also adaptable to almost any architectural layout and is used routinely on a variety of building projects. Structural steel is the most popular framing material for non-residential buildings in the world, with over half of the constructed square footage framed in structural steel on an annual basis.
Product Parameter
The main components of steel structure commercial building:
1. Main frame
Primary members are the main load carrying and support members of a steel structure office building. The main frame members include columns, beams and other supporting members. The shape and size of these members vary based on the application and requirements. The frame is erected by bolting the end plates of connecting sections together. All the steel sections and welded plate members are designed in accordance with the applicable sections as per the latest international codes and standards such as GB and IS to meet all the customer specifications.
2. Roof and wall cladding
Roof for steel structure office building can be sandwich panel, stone painted sheet or pouring concrete depending on roof slope and customers’ requirement.
Wall is usually PU sandwich panel or rock wool sandwich panel to make nice looking and good heat insulation.
3. Steel decking board
Decking board is for the floor of multi-storey steel structure office building, its effective width is 688mm or 750mm. Decking board is on steel platform as form board and support of concrete.
