Description
Stainless steel plate surface smooth, high plasticity, toughness and mechanical strength, acid, alkaline gas, solution and other media corrosion. It is a kind of alloy steel that is not easy to rust, but it is not absolutely rust free. The corrosion resistance of stainless steel mainly depends on its alloy composition (chromium, nickel, titanium, silicon, aluminum, etc.) and internal structure, plays a major role in the chromium element. Chromium has high chemical stability, can form a passivation film on the steel surface, so that the metal is isolated from the outside world, protect the steel plate from oxidation, increase the corrosion resistance of steel plate. After the passivation film is destroyed, the corrosion resistance decreases.
The tensile strength of grade 304H stainless steel plate is 74.69 ksi. The yield strength of 304H stainless steel plate at 0.2% is 29.73 ksi. 304H stainless steel plate has an elongation of 40%. On the Brinell hardens scale, 304H stainless steel plate has a hardness of 201 and on the Rockwell B scale, it has a hardness of 92.
