Intravenous Indwelling Needle Tubes are one of the most common needle tubes in the medical therapy. It is typically mounted over a solid needle core or inside a plastic catheter hub assembly to form a complete IV catheter set. This needle tube is made by medical-grade stainless steel 304 grade due to the material’s good corrosion resistance and formability. This indwelling needle tube is a specific component of an intravenous (IV) cannula or catheter. It is a sharp, hollow stainless steel needle that is inserted into a patient's vein to facilitate the placement of a flexible plastic cannula. Once the plastic cannula is correctly positioned in the vein, this needle is withdrawn and discarded, leaving the soft catheter in place for fluid or medication administration. The Tri-bevelled Back-cut Tip provides a sharp, clean, and minimally traumatic puncture into a vein and helps the venepuncture more smooth and easier. The typical gauge sizes of intravenous indwelling needle tubes are 14G - 26G. If clients have special size requirements, we can also customize based on their samples or drawings.
