1. JIS H3300 C1220T Seamless Tube Standard Specifications:
JIS H3300 governs the technical requirements for copper and copper alloy seamless pipes/tubes, including material composition, mechanical properties, dimensions, and tolerances. It specifically covers C1220T (phosphorus-deoxidized copper).
Current Version: JIS H3300:2018 is the latest standard, replacing earlier versions (e.g., 2006, 2009). It includes updates for fatigue strength and dimensional tolerances.
Material Compliance: C1220T-O (annealed state) aligns with JIS H3300, ensuring suitability for pressure applications like refrigeration systems.
2. JIS H3300 C1220T Seamless Tube Material Composition:
C1220 Phosphorus-Deoxidized Copper Key Properties:
High Purity: Copper content ≥99.90%, with phosphorus (0.015–0.04%) added as a deoxidizer to prevent embrittlement.
Advantages: Excellent cold workability, weldability, and corrosion resistance. Performs reliably in reducing atmospheres without hydrogen embrittlement.
Temper Designation: "T" indicates tube form, while "O" (e.g., C1220T-O) denotes soft annealing for enhanced ductility.
3. JIS H3300 C1220T Seamless Tube Manufacturing and Processing Seamless Production:
Tubes are cold-drawn to precise dimensions, with wall thicknesses ranging from 0.2 mm to 200 mm and lengths up to 12 meters.
Surface Treatment: Polyethylene insulation with embossed surfaces to prevent scratches and facilitate tape wrapping (common in HVAC kits).
Secondary Processing: Compatible with bending, welding, and cutting for custom installations.
