For applications such as high-temperature and high-pressure boilers, superheaters, and heat exchangers, ASTM A213 TP304 should be preferred. This standard has stricter requirements for the chemical composition, mechanical properties (especially high-temperature performance), and non-destructive testing of seamless tubes, while ASTM A269 focuses more on "general service" conditions.
