MPO/ MTP single-mode G657A2 72 fibers breakout patch cord is a low insertion loss MPO MTP connector. The standard insertion loss MPO/ MTP is 0.7-0.75 dB, but the low insertion loss MPO MTP connector can be 0.3-0.35dB.
We can identify it is a standard insertion loss or low insertion loss from the MPO MTP connector. The single-mode MPO MTP low insertion loss connector is yellow color, and the standard insertion loss single-mode MPO MTP connector is green color.
How to choose MPO MTP patch cord? We need to know the MPO MTP connection rules before we order. The MPO connection must be the same fiber count connector, 12 cores to 12 cores, 24 cores to 24 cores, etc.), But two MPO MTP connectors polarity should be different, one male connector connects with a female connector, and it must be the same polishing type( PC to PC, APC to APC).
