Horizontal Air Cooler, Convective Forced Draft In Reactor Of Oil Refinery
-Overview-
The horizontal air cooler adopts a transverse heat exchange structure, and forces air supply through a built-in high-efficiency fan, quickly introducing ambient cold air into the equipment. Using the principle of convection heat exchange, heat is taken away from the process fluid or equipment, thereby achieving the purpose of rapid cooling. Its compact horizontal structure is not only easy to install and maintain, but also flexibly adapts to the space needs of various industrial sites.
-Working Principle-
Air inhalation: the equipment inhales cold air from the external environment through the preset air inlet.
Forced air supply: the built-in fan sends the inhaled cold air into the heat exchange area at high speed and uniformly, so that the air forms a strong convection on the surface of the heat exchanger.
Heat transfer: Due to the close contact between the high-speed flowing air and the heat exchange surface, the heat is rapidly transferred to the air, realizing rapid heat dissipation.
Hot air discharge: the air that takes away the heat is discharged from the equipment through the exhaust port, completing a complete heat exchange cycle.
This forced air supply based on the convection principle greatly improves the heat dissipation efficiency and enables the equipment to maintain good temperature control even during high load operation.
-Structural Design-
1. Horizontal layout and modular design:
Compact structure: Horizontal layout enables the equipment to maximize the heat exchange area in limited space, which is easy to be installed in the plant, control room or open environment, and at the same time, it is easy to connect with other process equipment.
Modular components: The main internal components (such as heat exchange modules, air ducts, fan modules, etc.) are of modular design. This not only facilitates production and transportation, but also allows for quick assembly and replacement of faulty components on site, reducing maintenance costs.
2. Heat exchanger structure
Efficient heat transfer panel: Usually aluminium or copper finned tube structure is used to enhance the heat exchange efficiency between air and fluid using large areas of metal fins. The surface is treated with a special anti-corrosion coating to ensure weather resistance and corrosion resistance during long-term operation.
Multi-layer heat exchange channel: Multi-layer air channels are designed internally to ensure that cold air can be evenly distributed to the entire heat exchange surface, avoid local hot spots, and improve heat dissipation efficiency.
Optimized air duct design: The internal air duct design has been carefully calculated to ensure the shortest airflow path and the smallest resistance, so as to reduce energy consumption and improve heat exchange efficiency.
-Drive System-
1. Fan Driver:
High-performance fan: The core component of the drive system is a high-performance fan, usually a centrifugal fan or an axial flow fan. Depending on the working environment and air volume requirements, the fan model has been carefully selected to ensure sufficient airflow and static pressure.
Adjustable speed control: The advanced inverter control system can realize dynamic adjustment of fan speed, so that the heat exchange efficiency can reach the best state under different working conditions. The speed regulation function not only meets different load needs, but also reduces energy consumption and noise at low loads.
2. Drive motor and control
High-efficiency drive motor: Use energy-saving asynchronous motors or brushless DC motors, which have the characteristics of high efficiency, low vibration and long life. The motor runs smoothly and can maintain stable output during long continuous operation.
Safety protection mechanism: The system is equipped with multiple protection functions such as overload, overheating, and undervoltage to ensure automatic shutdown or reduced operating speed under abnormal working conditions, and ensure the safety of equipment and production systems.
