1) Description of Spur Gear
Under low-speed and heavy-duty conditions, spur gear is a type of gear that can bear large loads by increasing the width and modulus of the teeth,
and its rigid structure of the teeth is suitable for transmitting large torque.
2) Feature of Spur Gear
The root strength is high, and the vertical distribution of the teeth makes the stress concentration at the root of the tooth less
and can withstand large bending loads. At low speed, the meshing impact is relatively controllable and the transmission reliability is high.
The contact area can be increased by increasing the tooth width, further increasing the load-bearing capacity.
3) Working Principle
Due to the low speed, the impact time interval between the input and exit meshing of the gear teeth is long, which can effectively disperse the instantaneous load,
resist extrusion deformation through the strength of the tooth surface, and ensure the stable transmission of torque.
4) Application of Spur Gear
It is suitable for equipment running at low speed and with large loads, such as the auxiliary transmission device of steel rolling mills,
