General Introduction

 

Screw pumps are positive - displacement pumps that operate based on the principle of meshing screws. Working Principle

 

The TRG70A - 220 screw pump, for example, consists of a set of helical screws. As the driving screw rotates, it meshes with the driven screw(s), creating sealed cavities between the screw threads. These cavities move axially along the length of the screws. Fluid enters the inlet of the pump and is trapped within these cavities.
