Solids Control Systems: Five - Stage Purification for Optimal Drilling Performance

 

This system epitomizes efficiency, featuring a meticulously engineered three - stage purification process. At the first stage, the shale shaker assumes a central role. It efficiently sifts through the mud, separating out larger solid particles. This not only pre - conditions the mud for subsequent treatment but also substantially lightens the load on downstream components.

 

In the second and third stages, the desander and desilter respectively play pivotal roles. The desander is designed to eliminate medium - sized sand particles, while the desilter targets even finer solids. What distinguishes this system is that both the desander and desilter are outfitted with underflow shakers. These underflow shakers conduct a secondary treatment on the solids discharged from the upper equipment, ensuring that only the cleanest possible mud remains for further processing. Once the purification process is complete, the mud preparation devices spring into action. Essential mud materials are added to the purified mud, and through thorough agitation, mud with optimal and compliant properties is readied for recycling. This recycling mechanism not only results in significant savings in construction costs by reducing the need for fresh mud procurement but also makes a substantial contribution to environmental protection by minimizing waste.


Solids removal equipment including five stage purification equipment: shale shaker, vacuum degasser, desander, desilter decanter centrifuge. mud degasser and mud desilter can be combined with shaker as mud cleaner.
Auxiliary equipment mainly mean centrifugal pumps and other accessories parts like electrial pannal and so on. According function, centrifugal pump can be used as desander pump, desilter pump, mixing pump,trip pump, and metering pump.

 

500 HDD Mud Circulation System is applied to construction projects with higher mud capacities. Its purification process is divided into three stages: shale shaker for the first stage, desander and desilter respectively for the second and third stages. Both desander and desilter are equipped with underflow shakers that can carry out a further treatment to solids discharged by the upper equipment. By mud preparation devices, add necessary mud materials into purified mud and stir them evenly to prepare mud with qualified properties for recycling, which can greatly reduce construction costs and effectively protect the environment.
