Fork is one of the main parts of transmission shift mechanism, mainly plays the role of shift.
If the matching dimension accuracy of the fork notch is not high, the sliding gear can not reach the required positioning accuracy, so that the sliding gear can not be well meshed with other gears correctly and effectively, thus affecting the work of the whole transmission system.
Function:When shifting, the driver has to push the shift lever with force, and the V-shaped groove on the fork shaft overcomes the jacking force of the self-locking steel ball and extrudes the self-locking steel ball to make the fork shaft move. When the fork shaft moves to the self-locking steel ball contacts the next V-shaped groove, under the action of the self-locking spring, the self-locking steel ball is automatically pressed into the V-shaped groove, and then an impact is given to the gear shift lever, so that the driver feels that the gear is hanging up, and the driver releases the gear shift lever.
After the shift is completed, the self-locking steel ball is just pressed into the positioning slot of the fork shaft by the self-locking spring to complete the positioning function, so that the tooth ring or gear full tooth width meshes. At the same time, if there is no large axial force to push, the fork shaft in the self-locking steel ball jacking force to keep in the original position, will not be out of gear.
