Mount the Compressor: Position the compressor in its mounting bracket and secure it using the appropriate bolts and nuts. Torque the bolts to the specified value, typically around 9.8N·m for initial installation and 25N·m for final tightening.
Connect Hoses: Attach the discharge and suction hoses to the compressor. Ensure to replace any worn or damaged O-rings and apply a thin layer of compressor oil to the O-ring and hose fitting surfaces. Torque the hose connections to the specified value, typically around 9.8N·m.
4.System Integration:
Connect Electrical Wires: Connect the compressor's electrical wires to the vehicle's wiring harness. Ensure to follow the manufacturer's wiring diagram and use appropriate connectors and insulation.
Check for Leaks: After installing the compressor and connecting all hoses and wires, use a leak detector to check for any leaks in the system.
5.Refrigerant Handling:
Evacuate the System: Use a vacuum pump to evacuate the air conditioning system to remove any air, moisture, or non-condensable gases. This is crucial for the system's performance and longevity.
