WL-AD3947, a waterborne hydroxyl-functional acrylic dispersion, is recommended for producing high-performance two-component polyurethane coatings when crosslinked with water-based isocyanate curing agents . Its formulation targets premium topcoats and protective varnishes for diverse metal surfaces.
This aqueous hydroxyl acrylic dispersion delivers exceptional water, salt spray, acid, and alkali resistance, with extended initial water resistance retention. It is ideally suited for outdoor applications. Compatible with both oil-based and water-based curing agents, it functions as a versatile topcoat, varnish, or combined basecoat/topcoat resin.

Integration of Primer and Topcoat Testing Results
Topcoat: WL-AD3947 Polyurethane Primer/Topcoat (Light Gray)
Curing Agent: WL-AC300 Primer/Topcoat Special Hardener
Mix Ratio: 4:1
Pinhole Limit: 85 µm
Drying/Curing Process:
Bake at 80°C for 2 hours, then cure for 3-7 days;
OR Bake at 80°C for 4 hours, then cure for 1 day prior to salt spray testing.
