Galvanized steel wire is a type of stay wire made of high carbon steel material, which is usually available in standard ASTM A475, BS 183 and GB/T343. It has excellent tensile strength ranging from 1370 to 2160MPA, and is structured as 3 strands, 7 strands, 19 strands and 37 strands. Galvanized steel cable has excellent durability and anti-corrosion properties, and is widely used for fencing, railings and other construction applications. Generally they are made up of 6 wires stranded around 1 wire, twisting 7 wires together. A common use for stay wires is in the electricity industry, using the wire to stay power poles and tower structures.
