Anti-collision foam fender is a floating type fender using lightweight and high elasticity foam as a buffer medium to absorb impact energy. It’s composed of a closed-cell EVA core and an outer polyurethane skin.
Anti-collision foam fender is a floating compression fender, which has a wide range of uses and is suitable for a wide range of applications. It is composed of an external polyurethane protective layer, reinforced rubber nylon cord fabric, and an internal space, which is filled with foam as a collision-absorbing medium.
As an alternative to the pneumatic rubber fender, the anti-collision foam fender is extremely durable. Moreover, without air inside, there’s no risk of bursting or sinking. And it’s widely used in harbor, offshore platform, or ship to ship operations. Jerryborg’s anti-collision foam fenders are available in black and other customized colors upon customer’s request.
