2. Manufacturing Process

    • Molten glass is extruded through platinum bushings into 10 -25 µm diameter filaments, which are then cooled and solidified.
  3. Woven Structure:
    • Filaments are bundled into roving strands and woven into a parallel-laid non-woven mat using specialized looms.
  4. Surface Treatment:
    • Coated with vinyl ester or silane-based sizings to enhance resin compatibility and adhesion.
  5. Quality Control:
    • ISO 9001-certified testing for tensile strength, thickness uniformity, and chemical resistance.

3. Usage Precautions
  • Handling:
    • Wear PPE (gloves, goggles) to avoid fiber irritation; use sharp tools cautiously to prevent breakage.
  • Resin Compatibility:
    • Ensure compatibility with epoxy, polyester, or vinyl ester resins for optimal bonding.
  • Curing Conditions:
